Gail’s current work in progress, San Souci, follows several generations whose free spirits land them in jail, mental institutions and other trouble as they move West, finally settling in Oregon. Part historical fiction, part fantasy, her diverse characters must survive racism and threats of insanity in this unique look at inherited traits over which we may have no control. Or do we? She completed a second draft this spring and is just beginning the marketing phase.
Gail’s first work in progress, Fourth Avenue, follows the main character in San Souci as she strips her way through Anchorage’s Fourth Avenue, stumbling into the murder and mayhem of Alaska’s 1980s frontier. Check out excerpts of both books on the JUICY BITS page.
Will’s work in progress, Phoenixtism, is a clever collection of fiction/nonfiction stories about life and re-life. Readers follow the adventures and exploits of a soul that dies and is reborn through the ages, each time bringing new alcohol and brewing tips to his contemporaries. The soul travel is set against his real life’s journey as an autistic person trying to brew up a place for himself in the universe. Take a peek on the Juicy Excerpts button.
